an unfortunate wreck on a road nearby knocked down a large pole putting us without internet, home phone and cable a week...it was actually a positive thing, although kids had to stay at school and take care of internet homework... but still a good thing!
Then Mally had a pain like a pulled muscle in her leg (they had been doing insanity and P90X in PE, so made sense!) then a raised, heated, painful red area appeared in that spot...first trip to dr and put on extremely strong antibiotic and spot traced so we could watch growth... day later, much larger and more pain...visit #2! Traced again, and with continued antibiotic, should start to go away....nope...2 days later, worse! So after 3 dr visits in 4 days...Surgery only option. Dr tells her she will be put to sleep, in pain and needs rest, any questions? her response, "can I go to our last football game? (day of surgery!)..He says if you feel up to it. At that point no matter what she was determined! Went and shouldn't have! Pain through weekend but recovering! Worst part is that we still do not know what caused it or what it was...best part: Mally on laughing gas! Hagan is mad that we did not record to share with him! Nurses said it was the first time they saw someone wake up talking! She told them that she has no filter regular so this was gonna be BAD! It was hilarious! She also loved the gown... had a heating/cooling element that expanded! Hilarious!
