no phone (or cell service), no air conditioners, shower outside in a shower house (at least there was a toilet inside!), no TV shows (there was only a dvd player which only was used twice!)... BUT right on the water, beautiful views, quality family time. We enjoyed fishing, tubing, kayaking, and even experienced Gatlinburg...which the kids had enough of in about 10 minutes...we played "punch normal family", you know like punch buggy...there were not many "normals"! We people watched, lots of tatoos and I have never seen so many people smoking! (the kids joked that it was why it is called The Smoky Mountains!) Also drove almost to the top, but got to the state line...the kids loved tunnels through mountains and the curve ahead signs looked like the one in Pee Wee's big adventure!
