This is a beautiful video that must be shared... I am still in shock at what our city has gone through and continue to feel both guilty and blessed that I have a home with no damage. I felt so compelled the first week after to be out there daily helping anyone who had such great losses. It seems that everyone has a connection to someone who lost all. Two of my children's coaches, a high school friend, school principal, parents of old friends, church and school friends and the so many who endured damage to a basement or garage. I hurt as I went through photos, momentos and belongings that are ruined... I know that they are only things, but it is unbelievable. My girls went with me to deliver tools to their dad and uncle and snacks and drinks in one of the worst hit areas and saw the piles and piles of lost homes...I showed them this and another video of the actual area they saw but when it was covered in water...I do not know if they felt this same blessing (guilt) but I do know that it affected them. I cannot believe the outpouring of organization, help and cooperation that I have seen that somewhat helps overshadow the devastation. I thought those of you who do not live here would like to see what happened in the city that I am proud to be a part of! Please pray for all of the families that have lost so much.
