We received a gift card for christmas from a sweet special family and were able to do brunch at a favorite restaurant that is usually a no go as a whole family because even though its amazing, it is expensive for our family of six! Beautiful view of downtown as we ate and wonderful visit with the sweet lady from camp that has been the "kitchen lady" for years (and was hagan's boss when he worked at camp)...she is now working as the restaurants caterer and she sat down for a visit with us!
we enjoyed walking around downtown and the pedestrian bridge that overlooks the city... kids had a ball taking photos on their phones! They turned out great!
It was a fun way to spend our last weekend with hagan for a while and to enjoy the calm before the frigid single digits and snow and ice that came a few hours later!
