an anniversary surprise getaway!

about a year or so ago, a dear friend asked us and a few other couples to head to the Bahamas this summer and we were so excited...we are not ones to do those sort of big travels, but knew it was the summer of our 20th anniversary and decided we could enjoy...fast forward to this past winter and Hagan's (the boys)car breaking down and just dying...we were in serious need of a third mode of transportation, so had to use any extra money to take care of that issue...the trip was out.  We were actually okay with it, but the kids were so cute trying to pull all of their money together to make it work...we wouldn't let that happen, we were fine, we never do anything big anyway....
fast forward to a little over a week ago...our brother in law who travels a lot for work calls us at about 10 at night and says 'you guys want a little get away'...we are thinking with the two of them because we have traveled before, but no it is two free tickets anywhere southwest flies, but they have to be used in the next week!
Thrilled and overwhelmed, we start the travel plans and vote san antonio and he is so nice to help us start with some ideas of places to see...and a sweet cousin and friend from that area also helped!
Everything fell into place and we had a wonderful time away!  We took a lot of pictures because it was all so beautiful!  I am going to post in sections!
