eyes...

Nora had a check up yesterday after following the doctors suggestion to wear the patch at least 3 hours a day for a week.  He did see some improvement, but she is still turning that little eye off.  She will now be wearing it a lot...  Her class has been so accepting.  Her teacher called her "the pirate princess" on day one and it has stuck!  I will try to make her a few cute ones to dress it up!  She is a trooper as they do these difficult eye exams and even more of a trooper as she does her classwork and homework and has that (really both) little eye straining and rubs it and tries to keep it focused.
We will be getting new lenses in her glasses that are strong little prisms to see if that might help them as well.  She got excited as the girl told her to pick any frames and had fun trying them on, but then was perfectly fine when we decided to ask if they could just put the new lenses in the ones that she has (you know the ones that we had to replace just a few months ago!!!)
