All weekend Nora was complaining of her mouth and tooth hurting and would hold her jaw... Saturday night she says that it feels like something is stuck between her teeth...in the back, big tooth, almost to molars...I see something wedged and use the pick tool to get it out...a hole remains! It is a part of her tooth that has been stuck. She stays in pain, dentist tells us some pain remedies to hold her of til mid morning monday...she goes in, they do an xray and discover that the baby tooth did not have a back root! Basically it is not loose, but open enough under it to get food in, and had started to deteriorate! Lovely! Our great low key dentist says there are ways to cap it, do surgery, etc...BUT he would rather just yank it! Nora is up for it and moments later we are signing out and done! Until...she looks up at me a tad green in color and says "I don't feel so well" runs into the bathroom and gets sick a few times! Still looking green but feeling better! She got to stay home! And begged for Mcd's! I made her wait til color was back in her face and guess what the "toy" was... something that she had been begging us to take her to target to get! A win-win day!
