small renovation going on at our home...last year I "redid" mally's room while she was away at camp and dreamed of doing their bathroom as well. Their bathroom is the only room untouched in our renovation 6 years ago, it stayed that precious (ha) light blue tile. Then in the fall we put in new windows and had an energy evaluation done on our home to get a refund...under the house the guy found something else...a floor that was about to fall through under a bathroom. We were relieved to find out that it was the old bathroom and called insurance...we are fortunate that most is covered and hit the drawing board...and progress is occurring! Mally saw it to a point before she left but again will have a surprise when she returns, although it will not be completely done. The girls got all nostalgic and saved the little square tiles and a couple small planks of wood and are planning to make a mosaic cross to put in the new bathroom!
