vocabulary hat!

the first graders had the assignment to come up with a word that they are familiar with that others in their class may not know...put the word on a hat of some sort and objects or pictures that help describe the new word...some very interesting headpieces (and words!)  Nora's word... ophthalmologist, something she is VERY familiar with! (she wanted to include the sleepy mask from her eye surgery and the photo of "george" from one of his surgeries with her!)
