Reminds me of The Carrot Seed...Nora tried to plant apple seeds from one of her apples last year...NOTHING grew! She decided to try again this year, so we waited and waited... we charted the progress (none!). The sweet thing watered it and watched, and watched! Believe it or not, it bloomed! A sprout! Now I guess we get to plant it in the yard, how long do you think 'til we have apples on our tree!
