a little trip... a LONG way!

Hagan has pretty much known what he wanted to study in school since his senior year, but there were a few hurdles...our state does not offer that major, and he received our lottery scholarship which can only be used in state...so he started out last year at a state school taking those elective classes, but by october we were visiting a place he could study his major... and we could get in state tuition! So he finished up that first semester where he was, then came home and took classes locally that would transfer...that was nice having him home for a bit, but also nice seeing him taking classes that were in what his interest was in, he did well and enjoyed it! Then this past weekend he got to his destination!

 New Orleans...

a little visit with one of our favorite camp counselors! A lot of his camp friends are down there!

I forgot to take the real camera so only got to capture it on my phone...It was fun driving the whole family into New orleans for the day. The younger ones have never been there. It was a rainy day but still a lot of fun! It was fun having all the kids move him in and get a little time with him. He is a far way from home! The drive there and back helped make that more clear! But he seems happy!
