beach week...

love visiting churches and going to mass on our vacations. I love the similarities of the masses everywhere we go. This was a beautiful simple church, but the stations were in the grotto in front and a beautiful outdoor crucifix...

the monkeys... the story behind them...

leah, meg and I refer to ourselves as the three monkeys (the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil ones...) Meg and her crew were not able to join us on beach trip because of a family commitment, so she sent us with a gift bag with instructions not to open til we arrived... she promised to be with us in spirit. Leah and I decided to take the monkeys around on the trip! We sent her picture updates!

 first full day on beach was overcast, rain would come and go...we would hover under the tents, and then back out again!
