wild week...

catholic schools week meaning special days out of uniform, special treats, special notes to parents and fun activities (8th grade vs faculty basketball game...teachers cheat so bad!!) And craziness here, MANY basketball games for Mally as she plays for the girls and cheers for the boys! Sweet nana is in the hospital yet again for some issues. And then 25 teens (and a handful of adults) were at our home Tuesday night for practice talks for SEARCH.  Hagan had to lead the meeting since he is a co-director and did so beautifully, and hearing all those kids just makes me happy that the kids are in such a loving faithful environment. Oh and the crazy week started last weekend with a baby shower here for the sweet co teacher I had last year and a dance for hagan and his (our) buddy!

 rewind back a few weeks...this is how Hagan was asked to the dance..."if you were a booger, I'd pick you first... to the ----dance and the date!  Story behind it, they had been texting cheesy pick up lines back and forth one night that went on and on....

these are the canvases I painted for Corrie for her shower gift...she had seen sketches on pinterest and wanted something like it...

 new "toy"...our dear friends were getting rid of this and ours wanted to borrow it for a few weeks or so til it gets handed on to donation...Nora is the one who wanted it, but the boys had always wanted one of these when they were younger...so we all are having fun with it!  And the other night when all those teens were here, I moved it to the patio and it was very used by all! My home sounds like a pool hall til late in the evening!  But it is fun and better than a lot they could be doing!
