SEARCH was this past weekend and we got to be parents for the first time. It was wonderful and so moving, but first there was a little glitch! Friday when we were there setting up before searchers got there, all of us everywhere...flynn disappeared. I thought nothing of it because we were all scattered everywhere doing all sorts of preparing and so I went to the chapel to get ready for the mass before. Flynn is not there and at this point I get worried, asking other adult team and the kids on team... no one has seen him recently. I go to our little cabin and it is pitch dark, i call for him and he responds that he is in the back. I go to find him laying on the floor... he has thrown his back and cannot move. He says that he just needs to lay there and be still (this happened years ago). He continues to be there still on the floor for 6+ hours... then to the bed. Takes some meds and luckily by morning he is able to walk, very slowly and uncomfortably but is improving...sunday was even a little better and he did get to enjoy the weekend and got better once we saw a doctor at home. We had an amazing time bonding with, being inspired by and hugging on many, many teens all weekend and cannot wait to do it again next year!
I'd love to share about the weekend and how special it is but I still have 3 to do their weekends in the upcoming years and do not want to spoil it!
Also... Hagan got asked to be a co-director for the february one!

Wow, 70 teens. God love ya! Sorry to hear about your hubby - that can be so very painful. Hope he's doing better.
