enrollment...(and weekend)

Nora was more focused than normal on sunday at mass...this is a BIG year for her!  She is preparing for first communion.  Her first penance is next month and then communion in the spring, but yesterday was her enrollment.  The church was full of second grade friends and their families.  We "pinned" her during mass as Father and the community blessed them and prayed for them in the special sacrament that is ahead.  She read that piece of paper over and over and was so proud of that pin! I wanted to get a picture of her when we got home, but we had to run to the hospital because one of flynn's dearest business friends had been put in intensive care...they are now thinking pnemonia, but were/are looking into some serious things.
Also this weekend we visited with my sweet teacher friend from last year!  She and her husband had us over for dinner and a bonfire!  The kids all had so much fun!  They have a HUGE dog and nora was so entertained (or maybe she did the entertaining!)  We had a great visit!  Thank you Corrie!
