My little mally is growing up and i am trying very hard to let it happen as we give up ribbons, cute little florals and mom's obsessive matching! It is so difficult to find things to wear for this sweet little 'tween age that we can both agree on, so I was a little happy with our effort at this new little shirt....
As Nora has been wearing all (we do have a lot) of Mally's old christmas and snow clothes, Mally wished that she had "festive attire" to wear...we put this together out of scraps that we had in the sewing cabinet, dad even got in on the helping (he can be pretty creative). I am so happy with the finished product and even happier that she is wanting to wear it ALL of the time! I am mostly happy that we agree on it and that she still can feel like a big girl in something that makes her a little girl again to me!
