The kindergarten celebrated the 50th day of school in true 50's style...girls in poodle skirts, boys with hair greased back, hoola hoops at PE, learned to do the twist and listened to 50's music at rest time, grilled cheese and floats for lunch...they actually learned a little about the past! Nora wore a skirt that Gawgaw made about that long ago for Aunt Cindy, and then she put a poodle on it years later for Shelby to wear for a 5o's day!

p.s.- we'd love to be a 50's girl for Halloween next year and give it right back. Love recycling costumes that belong to family!
