Nora is learning quite a bit about lent and why we celebrate lent and about Jesus and the crucifixion. The other day she was just drawing at the table and produced this touching little picture..."Jesus is sad because he is on the cross and is about to die, that is why he has tears!" On a side note that is a bit more lighthearted, the kids were talking about what they would give up for lent...Nora pondered and said I am going to give up lunch and dinner...such a martyr!!! (considering that she hates to eat meals!)
