What do you do on a rainy day? Sounds like a seuss book to me! Nora is a little back into Seuss after the trip and we read Green Eggs and Ham this morning... such a teachable moment! She decided (I promise I had nothing to do with it!) that we needed to make our own green eggs and ham... I am sure at one time I have told her that I used to do that with my class. She added the blue (and a little yellow) food coloring..."yellow and blue make green!" She tried it... she does so like green eggs, but not the ham! Thank you, thank you Sam I am!!!!
Really makes me miss teaching, but also makes me realize how difficult next year will be when there aren't as many of these moments!
