We had a wonderful and somewhat relaxing vacation in Carillon Beach Florida... a quaint gated beachside community. We stayed in a cute little house called Lilypad. Kids all had a blast and Nana was well entertained! The "highlight" of the trip occurred as our little fish Nora had to do "just one more jump!"... those were the words as we asked the kids to get out of the pool for lunch...she did a beautiful jump backwards in the pool and banged her chin on the side! A gash like none I have ever seen! She said as she came to me, "I have a hole in my chin!" Obviously the little girl she was playing with got a good look at it! It looked like a bullet wound, a hole that a grown finger could easily fit in! A wonderful man saw us running frantically to the car and was a nurse and looked at it and told us to follow him to the emergency clinic, he even called ahead to let them know that she was coming. She got 5 stitches and a butterfly one also... she was so brave! I almost fainted twice!
